An island, for one wedding a day
Isla Pasión is a natural sanctuary reached by boat, and the whole of it, more than fifteen hectares, a kilometre of soft white sand, tropical forest behind, belongs to one couple for the day. There is no sharing it, because there is only ever one wedding on the island.
The chapel is consecrated, and a wedding held in it is fully recognised by the ecclesiastical authorities, which is rarer on this coast than it sounds. Couples who would rather marry outside get a custom altar or a gazebo built where they want it.
