About us

Fourteen people, one wedding a day, and a stretch of coast we grew up on.

We are not a hotel with an events desk. We are a small team of coordinators, cooks and gardeners on the Riviera Maya who host one celebration at a time, so the people you meet first are the people standing beside you on the day.

How this started

2010

A cove nobody was using

Mariana was coordinating 300-guest resort banquets three at a time. On a day off she found a private cove south of Playa with a cenote behind it, and asked the family who owned the land whether anyone had ever married there.

2014

The rule that made us

One wedding per day. It cost us bookings for years and it is the only reason couples get a whole team, a whole beach and a coordinator who is not running a second reception next door.

Today

Three venues, one team

Punta Venado, a Tulum jungle clearing and a Pa’amul cove, all off-resort, all with the same crew and the same no-vendor-fee policy. Still one celebration a day.

The people you’ll actually meet

One of these coordinators will be yours from your first email to your last dance. No handoffs, no ticket numbers.

Mariana Cruz

Founder & head coordinator

Grew up in Playa, spent nine years inside resort banquet departments, then left to build the opposite. Has run 400+ weddings and still writes the day-of timeline by hand.

Diego Peraza

Venue director

Knows every root, tide line and generator on the property. If it rains at 4pm, Diego already moved the ceremony, usually before you noticed the cloud.

Sofía Álvarez

Lead coordinator

Handles the parts couples dread: guest logistics, legal paperwork, the aunt who books the wrong airport. Answers emails faster than anyone should.

Emilio Rosado

Culinary director

Cooked in Mexico City and Oaxaca before coming home. Builds every menu around what the boats and the Valladolid market bring in that week, no set packages.

Camila Ruiz

Design & florals

Trained as an architect, now works in palm, bougainvillea and candlelight. Will talk you out of anything that fights the jungle instead of using it.

Guest experience

Transport, hotels, welcome bags, the group chat nobody wants to run. Your guests will think he works for them, that’s the point.

03 · What we believe

Four rules we don’t bend

01

One wedding a day

Never two ceremonies, never a shared beach, never a coordinator splitting attention. If your date is taken, we say so instead of squeezing you in.

02

Bring your own people

Your photographer, your DJ, your favourite baker from home, no outside-vendor charge, ever. We will happily recommend locals, but the choice is yours.

03

Prices you can read

Line-item quotes, in USD and MXN, with taxes and service shown. No mandatory minimums that appear after the deposit.

04

A named human, always

The coordinator who answers your first email is the one holding the radio on the day. You will have their mobile number, not a shared inbox.

04 · Follow along

See real weekends, not renders

Every wedding we host gets posted, setup, weather, the honest version. Best place to judge us before you write.

Come meet us properly

Send your date and guest count, a coordinator, by name, replies within one business day. Still deciding? The FAQ answers the money and logistics questions first.
