Choosing the song for your wedding can be a tricky thing to do. You may have more than a few options that make just tickles go all over your body. I understand, picturing that moment you walk down the aisle and you see your about-to-be spouse right into his/her eyes must have the song. In this article, you’ll find more than a few songs that will be a great idea to be played instead of the bridal chorus.
There are just way too many options to choose as your processional song. This one doesn’t have to be necessarily an instrumental one, it can perfectly be one that you both feel identified with, or that has a special meaning you share with the love of your life.
The thing here is selecting a song that is important, not just because it’s a tradition to have the Bridal Chorus by Richard Wagner -and you internally dislike it with all your being- means you must choose it. This is not how things work on your wedding day. It’s your wedding, not anybody else’s.
We’ve gathered some possible ideas that we think will be the best ones in that moment you create one of those beautiful memories that will store in your mind that day, it’s the melody accompanying it.
In addition to the walking down the aisle song, on your way to the altar, you also have the recessional songs. This one happens when the couple walks back down the aisle as newlyweds and their guests clap energetically.
Positive, jubilant and filled with love, the joy you feel inside should be represented in your recessional album. You have just married the love of your life!

Saying that this or that is the perfect song, would be very subjective and very up to my taste. My recommendation is that you listen to multiple options, having the full image of your entrance in your mind and picturing that moment second by second. Trust me, by listening to it you will just know which one is the right one.
